BlackHawk Waltz....Ragtime Angel
Ragtime Angel.
Original Painted by Mike 2010...acrylic on board....10x12
The Blackhawk Waltz is a favorite old family waltz. I remember my Aunt Attice playing the waltz many many times. I made it a point to learn to play it also and it inspired me to paint this angel. Ragtime is the true american original music that inspired jazz/blues and rock and roll. Bohemia and Pineapple rag are very famous ragtime piano pieces also.
